40 Hour Apprentice-in-Training Course

Learn at your own pace with the online 40-Hour Laser Hair Removal Apprentice-in-Training course. This course teaches the study of theory, practice and science of laser hair removal procedures required by the state of Texas. This course also includes the review of other laser therapies used in the esthetic field.
This course does not include the 100 body site treatment practicum to move towards the certification required for licensing.
To enroll in this course, all students must:
be of at least 18 yrs of age at the date of application
have attained a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
be proficient in the English language
have a valid drivers license
have a current CPR card

8 Hour Continuing Education Course

Learn at your own pace with the online 8-Hour Laser Hair Removal Continuing Education (CE) course. This course reviews the study of theory, concepts, and practice of laser hair removal. According to TDLR requirements for 8 hours of continuing education, the topics reviewed should include laser hair removal regulation (TAC16; Ch.118), facility and technician license requirements, documentation, laser safety and physics, wound care, and contraindications for treatment.
To enroll in this course, all students must:
be of at least 18 yrs of age at the date of application
have attained a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
be proficient in the English language
have a current laser hair removal technician license (any level)
have a valid drivers license
have a current CPR card

Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician Course

Learn at your own pace with the online Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician course. In this course, the highest level for laser hair removal technicians, you will be trained and tested over the intricacies of laser hair removal techniques, tips and pearls for great outcomes.
The focus of this course is to reiterate, in an accelerated manner, the comprehension of the application of light for the safe and effective treatments of laser hair removal no matter the laser device. We will further focus on client consultations, determining appropriate treatment parameters depending on client skin type, addressing pre- and post- treatment considerations, and learn how to determine treatment settings and considerations as well as adjusting these treatment parameters to improve efficacy and client comfort.
Once you have completed and passed the exam, you will receive a completion certificate as well as a Professional Laser Technician certificate that can be used for submission to TDLR. TDLR, or the state you seek licensing in, will require your to either mail a copy or upload your certificate along with your application and any state processing fees.
Prerequisite : Must be currently licensed as a Senior Level Laser Hair Removal Technician.

have a valid drivers license
