According to TDLR requirements for 8 hours of continuing education, the topics reviewed should include laser hair removal regulation (TAC16; Ch.118), facility and technician license requirements, documentation, laser safety and physics, wound care, and contraindications for treatment.

To enroll in this course, all students must:

  • be of at least 18 yrs of age at the date of application

  • have attained a high school diploma, GED or equivalent

  • be proficient in the English language

  • have a current laser hair removal technician license (any level)

  • have a valid drivers license

  • have a current CPR card
